The Puget Sound Business Journal and Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) have recognized Angie Mykel, CEO of Keller Williams Greater Seattle, as an Outstanding Voice of Pride. Since 2016, this award has recognized LGBTQ+ business leaders, allies, and advocates who are making a lasting impact in the business community. This year, Angie was one of just 11 individuals selected for the honor.
A Leader in Representation and Equity
“We believe in creating opportunities and building representation that reflects the communities where we live and work,” said Mykel. “It is our way of holding space for our agents and clients to feel seen and heard.”
Mykel, who previously served on the board of Seattle Pride, has been an active voice in the LGBTQ+ community since 2009. Her leadership at Keller Williams Greater Seattle has been instrumental in fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and advocacy in real estate.
A Vision Brought to Life
“I am so proud to see Angie Mykel recognized for her work,” said Meredith Hansen, Operating Principal and Owner of KW Greater Seattle. “When we opened in 2008, my vision was for our company to be known for embracing diversity and including everyone, no matter their identity. Angie has made that vision a reality through her bold and thoughtful leadership.”
